Hollywood heavyweights like Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, and Drew Barrymore – who played host for the event – gave us evening glamour of the chicest kind. Charlize stepped arrived in a halter-style black jumpsuit, while Drew posed in a long-sleeve floral-print skirt set, and Jennifer showed off a flared LBD (and a new bob!). Our jaws dropped when we saw host Tina Fey‘s L’Wren Scott gown. From the sweetheart neckline and champagne color to the intricate, floral beaded overlay, it all just worked. She was definitely channeling some of that Old Hollywood glamour with her full hair styled into big waves. Lest we forget, the dress’s ankle-length hemline revealed her black platform pumps, a sleek footwear choice. Although she didn’t don too much jewelry, she did accessorize her gown with some art deco-inspired earrings and a black-and-silver clutch to pick up on her gown’s fabulous beadwork. There’s hardly a dull moment for this Hollywood crowd, who headed to the BAFTA Awards Season Tea Party in LA this afternoon – yet another in the run of events leading up to tomorrow’s Golden Globes. Gathering at the Four Seasons was another opportunity for nominees to test-drive their red-carpet ensembles and hone their style skills for the big show tomorrow. Amanda Seyfried showed off a feminine Vionnet dress with a gold lamé inset, while Olivia Munn slipped into a sporty-chic black and white top and trouser set, punctuated with a creamy box clutch in hand and a pair of black satin platforms to polish it off. As for Jennifer Lawrence, she took an easy-glam approach in a knee-length LBD with intricate gold detailing and a decorative sash at the waist.
